Ok, ok I said I was gonna post about yesterday's outing... but never mind, it will come later.

Last night, after dinner and a trip to the arcade, Sean, Matt, Josh and myself were walking to the MRT station while talking about this song titled "Healer" (the first song on the playlist at the sidebar)... the story behind it is super cool!

The person who wrote this song is Mike Guglielmucci (awesome name!)... He is a youth pastor in the Planetshakers City church based in Melborune, Australia. He was diagnosed with blood disease in 2006. He was just 20+ then! It was a stage 3 terminal disease, which was pretty bad. The docs, being super pessimistic, said that he had only 3 and a half weeks to live. Mike, instead of griping, continued to praise God and led worship as if nothing happened. Of course, he prayed like siao for healing. During this period, he wrote 2 songs, titled "Praise You" and "Healer" (both in the playlist at the side). He believed that God placed him to lead a generation towards Christ and if it is God's will for him to leave in 3 and a half weeks, he (Mike) would still continue his work.

The amazing thing is, Mike is still living today! For 2 years he had been going strong, even recovering! Science and logic has been defied! God's power is awesome man! As Mike was preaching in another Church in Bristol, he left his wheelchair there! He was healed! Not completely, since his upper body still had some pains, but his legs were completely healed!

"Healer" is a super powerful song! It talks about how Jesus is with us and guides us through, healing us when we call for healing.

I really hope that you can take some time to listen to "Healer". I remember, when I got the album "Saviour of the World", this is one of the three songs that I kept listening to. The other two are "Take Me" and "No One Else Like You"
