Had an awesome time with God yesterday during Pastor Ben Chew's message on "Boot Camp Enlistment" and learnt a few things from it. (note, the next few stuff may be in point form)

-When God is gonna move, the young generation always kena from Satan.
Major events: During Moses' time, babies were slaughtered but Moses survived and ultimately he led the Israelites out of captivity of the Egyptians.
During the time of Jesus, anyone under the age of 2 were massacred because Herod heard the wise men talking about a king rising, and Herod was, like, "I don't want anyone's butt on my throne except my own big, fat, smelly butt"

Look at this teen generation. Homosexuals, pornography, drugs, pre-marital sex etc. These are very sinful stuff. Yet a lot of youths today are doing it. Why? It is because Jesus is coming back soon. Very soon. Remember, when God is gonna move, the young generation always gets targeted by Satan.

God is recruiting an army to counter the devil and the anti-christ's actions. And, after seeing ytd's altar call, I think God got new additions to his military. =D But, of course every army must have some ground rules.

An army with ground rules = successful peace-keeping force/freedom fighters regiment
An army without ground rules = terrorist faction/an army that crumbles after one battle

I'll only share about the first rule here, cos I'm still trying to process my thoughts for the other rules.

1. You need to have a discipline lifestyle. --> Discipline is a key to be used by God.

Wow, this point really got to me. So far, I had been living a very lazy and ill-disciplined life, leaving all my homework to the last minute. So this point whacked me straight in the face.

We need to discipline ourselves because when we do that, we can make room for quiet time with God, and then God can work in us. God wants us to talk to him. NO God is not emo. It's just that God loves us so much. I ask you, if you love someone you would talk to them right? God is about the same. Ytd Jon, Zeng Yang, Josh and myself were late for prayer meeting (sorry Minwei and Ade) so we just sat outside the room and talked about prayer.

So, why is prayer important?
Prayer lets us know that God is always in power, thus making us humble.
Prayer also gives recognition to God, cos when we ask him for stuff, we know that blessings will come from God and God alone. Destruction comes from the devil. Sadistic idiot. When we pray, we are talking to God. And when we pray, God comes down, sits down somewhere and start talking to you.

Next thing I wanna get from God: Gift of Tongues (language of the Holy Spirit) and VISIONS (no not TeleVisions, but Visions from God)
