(If anyone from the same CG as me is reading this post and wondering "Hmm... this post seems familiar." yes, I copied and pasted the HTML here too from the CG blog... makes it easier compared to typing the entire thing again. But the bottom part is new though)

I really done a lot of crap today. Besides not even touching my homework, I even done some stupid things which I knew it was already wrong. I realise I keep indulging in those kinda rubbish when I'm really bored.

Luke 23:34a "Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

This is said by Jesus during His crucifixion. It is quite... powerful in that sense to me, because the Pharisees (no I am not sneezing...) hated Jesus to the extent where they had to kill him. The thing that kinda hit-ted me when I read this passage long ago was: "Since Jesus is fully God and also fully man at that time, then why did He not send His heavy artillery down to show the Pharisees point blank that Jesus is their long-awaited Messiah (Saviour)?"

But, actually, Jesus just let them kill Him because through the Pharisees' unbelief and doubt, we can be saved today for eternity.

Also, yesterday during Vincent's message on "Empowered Warriors", Jesus gave power to His children (those that believe in Him). Why?

1. The Power for Ministry
2. The Power to Endure
3. Power for Godly living

In Matthew 25 (refer below) Jesus told the parable about a master giving money to his servants, each in respect to his own ability. So those with a lot of God-given ability will be given more to do the above-mentioned 3 things.

This made me think... Will I actually waste my talent away? Or will I go out and minister the Good News to others? Deep inside me, I know I fear rejection. From what I've experienced last week, (no I will not mention it just in case some of them comes here and they start to crap again.) I realise that I will just crash and burn in almost everything I do.

This is rather discouraging to me. I pray for God to help me overcome my... obstacles... but whenever I try, I end up going back to square one. My sense of discipline is just not there.

Sometimes I think that if I die in a car crash, or a terrorist attack, or even an accident (Cassandra throwing my scissors back at me after Friday's mock hair-cutting spree... and the flying scissors impales me straight in the throat), the world will be like better. I would also feel better, knowing that I can finally meet God.

God, just kill me. Seriously. I don't see what You want in my life. My life is super screwed, and that is the fact (currently).

Matthew 25:14-30 (NIV)

(14) Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. (15) To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey. (16) The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. (17) So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. (18) But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.

(19) "After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. (20) The man who had received five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'

(21) "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (22) "The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.'

(23) "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (24) "Then the man who had received one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. (25) So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'

(26) "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? (27)Well then, you should have out my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

(28)" 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents. (29) For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. (30) And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
