Exams are in 3 weeks... OH NO!!!

Posting this before going for Yoof session... Josh is leading a new song today and that song is really nice =D

Anyway, exams are gonna be crazy. A few people in class are already fretting and stuff. I myself too... have not been working hard for the past 9 months.

Something Joel said last Saturday during Pre-Prac Prayer sounds quite true... I've been thinking about it for the past week.

Joel and I were partner-ing for prayer and, well, we were just sharing about the past week (aka 2 weeks before) and I said that my QT is ok, yet quite rocky.

(This is not directly taken from what he said... partly because I forgot most of it... so below is just the main idea)

If we do not take God seriously, what makes us think that God will take us seriously? It is just like a friend who asks you if you want to pop out for lunch to have a nice chat. And you just say that "Oh I very busy, ask me again next week or something." And this goes on and on and on... Until one fine day you ask that same friend: "Hey I'm free now, want to go out for a drink?" I highly doubt that he/she will take you seriously.

I dunno about you, but it made me think a lot.

If we just keep ignoring God when He call us, be it being distracted by work, or TV, or playing computer games etc. I think God may just not listen when we need something from him in the near future. (I am really not sure about this... correct me if I am wrong =D)

I guess we don't want God to ignore us.

I highly doubt that though... God will never ignore us, but some of us usually ignore God. Some ignores and throws God aside on a daily basis.

I really hope I can tune myself to never ignore God again...

Above are the two verses that stays in my head for the longest period of time. But can it be applied back to the above-mentioned topic?
