Hmm... why would people commit suicide?

There were suicide cases because of stuff like stress from O levels, A levels etc., work stress all that jazz...

But why suicide?

Do you think that when you take your own life, the problem just slips away? Will the problem go under that rock when you die?

In fact, no. The problem just remains, if it does not get worse.

There are many suicide methods... a few are rather popular: Slicing your wrist, drinking insecticide, jumping off the block, sniffing gas etc.

Some fanatics (terrorists, religious etc.) are actually geared on death just to promote their ideology. Look at computer games for example. Command and Conquer Generals' Zero Hour has a unit titled "Terrorist" that is one of the cheapest unit in the game. His method of attack? Run into structures or vehicles and blow up the massive piles of C4 (Composition 4) strapped to his body.

So human life is so lowly regarded that massive amounts of people just wants to commit suicide, be it to "escape" or to "promote".

Check yesterday's newspapers for example. Page 4-5 of the Straits Times. The government is thinking of legalising enthanasia to anyone sick who wishes to end his/her suffering.

Personally, I am against it.

Although now it is really difficult to say, since we have not experienced that kind of pain and suffering from sickness yet.

Why would you want to take your own life? God has a plan and a will for each and every one of us. So if you take your own life, it is just like saying "Hey, God. I hate the kind of life you are giving me, so I'm giving up."

The Bible also said that suicide is a sin.

Press on in life. Life is like a test. At the end, you will get what you deserve.
