Wow... something I really want to share!!! =D

Yesterday I was doing my QT, I was reading 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

"Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the intepration of tongues. All these are the work of the one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines."

In my last post I mentioned that God is the one that gives the gifts, and the bold section is verse 11, from NIV. Wow... it is really very comforting to know that the Spirit will determine who is a better choice for that particular gift.

After reading that section, I proceeded on to the devotional material in Mettle and started reading it. There was this line which said "To some people God will give the gift of faith that encourages others." That line just jumped out and hit me. Wow... is that the spiritual gift that God gave me? I don't know actually... I don't know about it... I felt really good after that and I almost stopped doing my QT halfway... so it could be pride that stepped into the picture.

I'll continue searching for my spiritual gift...
