Why do people envy other people? Is it because of greed? Attention? Or...?

Anyway, got back some of the CT results today... My marks were not of my expectations... but... wow... I cannot believe I got those marks... Confirm its not by my own strength...

In this rather cruel world, every man wants the best for himself/herself and they simply disregard the rest of their so-called "buddies". One minute they rub shoulders with you, and the next (when they get what they want from you), they just abandon you.

Of course, not everyone is like that. There are some good buddies in my class that stick by you, endure your endless crapping and stuff, and still accept you for who you are.

However, sometimes even I myself get jealous of things/people... (come on, I'm not perfect!... Yet it does not give me the reason to keep having that green eye...). For example.
- I get jealous of _________ when he gets good grades.
- I envy _______________ for his popularity sometimes
- And...

On second thought... never mind.

How to not be jealous of people then? Well, you can occupy your mind with other things, or find something which you are good at (or have an ability in) and do that. It shows that you are special too.

For me personally, whenever I get this feeling that I'm gonna get jealous at somebody, I'll do a few things (not really routines, but what I would do when it happens). If I am at home, I'll:
1. Pick up my guitar (Iris) and plug it in
2. Thank God for creating me for who I am
3. Start to worship God (and get complaints of volume from my parents... xD)

If I am not at home...
1. Pray
2. Thank God for creating me for who I am
3. Carry on in my life until I get home... THEN I'll play Iris.

Haha, sometimes I'm mad...
